Unlike other transformative technologies, AI doesn’t have a universally agreed-upon framework for governance. Instead, we have a patchwork of regulations, corporate policies, and ethical guidelines that vary drastically across the globe. Some countries push for strict oversight, while others embrace a Wild West approach. The result? Confusion, legal loopholes, and an AI landscape where accountability is murky at best.
